Obituary for Clinton Melvin Vatsaas

VATSAAS
Clinton M., age 67, passed away August 22, 2014. Clint was a loving husband, father and brother and grandfather. He was an avid sportsman, sports fan, youth coach and Boy Scouts of America volunteer. Preceded by parents Clarence and Hazel (Tinnesand) and sister Jean Larson. He served in Vietnam as a member of the Marine Corps from 1967-1969 and awarded the Purple Heart Medal. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary (Koenig), three sons: Craig (Kate), Cory (Christine Hearn) and Christopher (Kelsey), grandsons: Kyle and Trevor, siblings: Shirley (Gordie) Judy (Lyle) and Larry (Shelley). Mass of Christian Burial at the CHURCH OF ST. PATRICK OF CEDAR CREEK 19921 Nightingale St. NW – Oak Grove) Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11 AM with visitation from 9 AM until time of services.
