Obituary for JoAnn Delores Solomonson

Solomonson, JoAnn D. Age 70 of Blaine, MN passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on January 18, 2015. Born July 30, 1944 in Topeka, Kansas, her family settled in Lake Mills, Iowa. After high school she attended Mankato Business College and married Orlan (Ole) Solomonson. In 2014 they celebrated 50 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russ and Deloris Appel. She is survived by her loving husband, Orlan, children Lana Wymore (Eric), Joel Solomonson (Dana) and Sara Messerli (Craig Lesterson). Her true joy in life was spending time with her seven grandchildren, James, Peter, Philip, Cassie, Hunter, Colin and Cate. She also cherished time spent with her siblings, Mike, Candy and Rusty along with other extended family members and close friends. Her genuine kindness and humor will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22rd from 5pm-7pm at Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel, 1385 107th Avenue NE, Blaine, MN and the funeral will be held on Friday, January 23rd at 1pm at Peace Lutheran Church 20 Northdale Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids, MN, 55448. Luncheon to follow immediately after the service. Private burial will be held summer 2015. Memorials preferred to www.cancer.org/donateā€Ž
