Obituary for Sheri Ann Buss

Sheri (Crowley) Buss was born on August 7,1967 to Jim and Sharon (Thedans) Crowley. Sheri grew up in Granite Falls, Minnesota, where she graduated from Granite Falls High School. Growing up, Sheri enjoyed her friends and in high school took on the name "Crow" she was known to be the fun-loving-party girl and would do anything for her friends. Sheri enjoyed many fun vacations, but her favorite was the summertime when Sheri and her family spent many days at Lake Pelican near Glenwood, MN. It was there, she met her husband, Scott Buss. After high school, Sheri attended Willmar Community College. Before graduating, she grew to love working with people leading challenged lives. This led her to Marshall, MN, where she worked for several years at the Western Human Development Center. Living in Milroy, MN, at the time, she also worked at the Oasis Bar where she made many life-long friends. In 1991, Sheri reconnected with Scott and decided to move to the Minneapolis and continue working with people with disabilities. Sheri and her family became very close to several of Sheri's clients. Sheri would include them in family gatherings, take them to Twins' games, one even joined them for a vacation in Florida. Sheri was a caring person with a generous heart. She always put others before herself and had an incredible work ethic.

Sheri married Scott on March 23,1996 and they made Champlin, MN their home. Scott and Sheri were blessed with 2 sons and they were the love of Sheri's life.

Sheri passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the age of 47. Sheri is survived by husband, Scott; sons: Mitchell & Nathan; parents: Jim & Sharon Crowley; sisters: Lisa (Michael) Knutson & Jodi Dubbeldee (fiancé Brian Klinghagen); in-laws: Don & Linda Buss; Paula (Dan) Ekeren & Kerri (Rob) Murphy; 13 nieces & nephews; other relatives & countless dear friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at Maple Ridge Church in Maple Grove on January 31st, 2015. Interment was at Rush Creek Cemetery. Arrangements with Kozlak-Radulovich Maple Grove Chapel, 763-416-0016.
