Peters, Robert R.
Died unexpectedly from complications with cellulitis on June 25th at the age of 75. Survived by wife, Penny; brother, Kenneth; sister, Vickie Hinnenkamp (Marv); sister, Barbara Moore (Kenny); many nieces, nephews and friend/helper Angelica Radford. Bob worked for Control Data/Seagate Technology and retired after 43 years. He devoted his free time to disability awareness and human rights activities. He was most proud to be a part of Jefferson High School's Diversity Day, serving as a Commissioner on Bloomington's Human Rights Council, and authoring his book “A Dive Too Deep." Visitation at Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel (1918 University Avenue NE.) Monday (Today) from 5 to 8PM with Vigil Prayers (Parastas) at 7PM. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary's Orthodox Cemetery Chapel (3025 Stinson Blvd. NE. Due to renovations at St. Mary's Cathedral) Tuesday at 11AM with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment St. Mary's Orthodox Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Mary’s Cathedral Renovation Project.
