Obituary for Earl John Spindler

Earl John Spindler
Age 77, of New Brighton MN, born in Duluth MN, passed away peacefully on September 20th after a year-long battle with Lymphoma. Survived by his 3 favorite girls: wife Loretta, daughter Shawna and granddaughter Malia; also granddaughter Kiana, great granddaughter Emma, son Tony; brother Ralph (Patricia Beaubien); sister Mary Hebert (Willard Anderson); and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He had fond memories of Duluth and the north shore, and loved spending time there. He enjoyed hiking, nature, architecture and cars. One highlight of his retirement was the discovery of his interest in painting; you can see throughout his paintings the places and interests most special to him. The knowledge and comradery he gained from the acrylic painting class at the Fridley Community Center was an important part of his retirement. Special thanks to niece Nan Thompson; Mary Hartz and Joanne Lundak of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Visitation Monday, September 26, 5-8 PM at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 NE University Ave.) Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 27, 11 AM at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH (835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton) with visitation one hour prior to Mass and Luncheon to follow. Private Internment.
