James Leroy, age 82, of Minneapolis. Preceded by wife: Sharon and brother: Denis Burke. Survived by children: Tammy (Ross) Bengtson and Scott (Kathy) Banta, grandchildren: Andrew (Christine), Jacob (Rachel) and Lucas (Lisa) Banta, James, Jason, Kathleen and Jack Jopp, Oliver and Ewan Bengtson, great-grandchildren: Brooke, Sophia, Miles, Alexander, Hayden and Harper Banta, brothers: Donald (Sandy) and Lyle (Judy) Banta and Joey (Patty) Banta, Ken (Shirley Welch) and Dale (Debbie) Ebel, sisters: MaryLou (Duane) Mussman and Darlene (Bruce) Cherland, Gloria (Harold) Pedersen, long-time companion: Joanne Walstad and sister-in-law: Nancy Burke. Memorial service at Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel (107th Ave. NE & Hwy. 65) Monday, October 24th, 2016 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior.
