Obituary for Charles Richard Laing

Laing, Charles R. “Charlie”, age 66, of Blaine went peacefully to our Lord on Jan 5, 2017. He joins his brother, Steve, and our many rescue puppies who preceded him. Survived by loving wife Barb (Gullion), son Charles Nicholas “Nick” (Su), daughter Reya, son Thomas (Stephanie), daughter Maureen (Brandon) Horak, 6 beautiful grandchildren, sister-in-law B.J., brother John, nieces, nephews, and 2 great nephews. Charlie was born to Charles William and Joyce Laing in Phoenix AZ on Jan 28, 1950. He became fascinated with all aspects of Motorsports at the age of 9 and pursued a life of racing; fabricating and running many types of racecars, to the point that most thought he was a Mechanical Engineer, not a history and education graduate from Arizona State. He also loved all things historical and political and enjoyed many discussions with his myriad Facebook friends. Our celebration of his life will be 1-3 PM on Saturday, Jan 21 at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL (107th Ave NE & Hwy. 65).
