Jack Edward Nelson
Age 92, of Maplewood MN, born and raised in Des Moines, IA. Former Chief Architect of the State of Iowa. Jack had many loves, besides the love of his life and family, it included woodworking, painting and golfing. Preceded in death by loving wife Juanita Josephine; sons, Rick Joseph and Gregory A.; father, Edward Joseph; mother, Juanita B., and brother, Ted. Survived by loving daughters, Linda (Craig) Lone and Cheryl (Ken) Neubeck; son, John (Jenni) from Urbandale, IA; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. May you Rest In Peace, we love you and will miss you. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL (107th Ave. NE & Hwy. 65) Friday, March 10th, 2017 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior also at the funeral home. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Nelson family.
