Obituary for Pat Steven Anderson

ANDERSON, PAT STEVEN
Age 61 of Chisago City, passed peacefully at home in his recliner surrounded by family and watching a Gopher hockey game. He is gone much too soon after a valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma. Pat graduated from UND and went on to a fulfilling career as an electrical engineer with 3M. He also served ion the Army as a Military Police Officer. Pat was a beer & coffee connoisseur and drank a mean brown ale. He loved to play golf with Jeffie, Rod the apartment dweller retiree, Blumer & Brad, was an avid football watcher and recliner dweller, enjoyed mowing his acres and feeding the birds. Pat was the best father in the world and will be dearly missed by daughter, Shawna and grand dogs Olivia Newton John & Simon. Pat shared his final beer with friends & colleagues, Brad Stevens, Kris King, Jeff & Eileen Engels & Timmy Mac with college friends Tom & Carol Fontaine supporting from afar. He also is survived by siblings: Jack Horner, Carol Schwietz, Michael Anderson & Timothy Anderson; many beautiful, loving nieces, nephews & their families; two dogs, Mouse (200 lb. Mastiff) & Tara (Boston Terrier). He is preceded in death by parents, Raymond & Peggy Anderson; sister, Debra McPherson. Special thanks to Dr. Brian McClune at the U of MN Hematology Oncology Center for his outstanding care. A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held at LAKEWOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL (3200 Hennepin Ave. S.) on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2 PM with visitation beginning at 1:30 PM.
