Marianne M., age 88, of Fridley. Born in Marktbreit, Germany. Passed away on April 7, 2017 after a six-week fight with brain cancer. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Interlude Restorative Suites for their care and support during this challenging time. Survived by loving husband: Les, children: Krista (Greg) Debelak, Preston (Renetta) Gable and Dores (Dan) Sorensen, grandchildren: Kyle and Aliena Debelak, Erin (Omri) Shiv, Austin and Ellen Gable, Jack and Hank Sorensen, sisters: Annelore “Ann” Barklind and Helga (Wilfried) Schaller. Funeral services 11 AM Thursday, April 20th, at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL 1918 University Ave. NE with visitation one hour prior. Additional visitation at funeral chapel Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to: P.E.O. Foundation, Columbia Heights HS Alumni Scholarship Foundation, or Metro Meals on Wheels.
