Clinton Benson, age 92 of Andover, formerly of Elk River and N. Mpls. Retired Lieutenant, Mpls. Police Dept., 28 years. World War II Veteran, Retired Master Chief Petty Officer, US Navy, 28 years. Preceded in death by wife, Rosemary; parents, Victor & Hilda; brother, Lee; sister, Bettyann Ward. Survived by sons, Jimmy (Ellen), Larry, Kelly (Peggy); daughters, Cathy (Don) Buda, Karen (Dennis) Schultz, Vicki (Steve) Huonder, Laura (Randy) Fiskum, Mary Benson; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Murphy & Dee Benson; brothers-in-law, Dick Digatono & Ron Crooker Sr.; nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Clint’s life will be held at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL (107th Ave. NE  & Hwy. 65) Wednesday from 5-7 PM with a Time of Remembrance at 7 PM. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
