The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter Mucha can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: "Gloria"

Like to tell you 'bout my baby
You know she comes around
Just 'bout five feet-four
From her head to the ground
You know she comes around here
At just about midnight
She make me feel so good, Lord
She make me feel all right

And her name is G-L-O-R-I
G-L-O-R-I-A
Gloria!
G-L-O-R-I-A
Gloria!
I'm gonna shout it all night
Gloria!
I'm gonna shout it every day
Gloria!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah……

Van Morrison, 1964

This music sets the coming of age time when I met Wally. From that time forward life was never the same. Only Wally, his mother, and the gang knew how many people could fit into his magical bedroom full of music. A virtual time travel machine, not unlike stepping into Dr. Who’s phone booth teleporter. Many adventures came during and after that time. I am heavy hearted to covey this. I want to thank Wally for being on my life path and miss him greatly. Rock on Wally, into the great beyond.

Condolence: Wally was a close friend who was always there to support me during trying times. For many years, the Mucha home was a hub for friendly social activities, both upstairs and downstairs. He shared his love of music with all that stopped by, and his pizza pies and coffee were legendary. I'm sure that many within the community will greatly miss Wally. Goodbye good friend and enjoy the beautiful harp music in heaven...
