BILLER, JAMES A. “Jim”
Age 71 of Mounds View, passed away peacefully on 9/26/2017 from complications of Interstitial Lung Disease. He is survived by his loving wife and attentive caregiver, Dixie; his daughter, Wendy Anderson (Steve); son, Cory Biller (Kelly); sister, Marilyn Johnson (Greg); sisters-in-law, Picksey Watkins (Bob), Patty Wayne (John) & Brenda Anderson; brother-in-law, Jeff Anderson (Hao). Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Michael & Audrey; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern & Myrt Biller; infant brother, Gary; mother & father-in-law, Jessie Mae & Bernard Anderson; brother-in-law, Ken Anderson. Jim was born in Tony, WI and raised in Silver Bay, MN where he attended William Kelly High School. He then graduated from the University of Minnesota – Duluth where he was a member of the Bulldog football team and also a member of Beta Phi Kappa fraternity. He had a long career in banking, working first for Northwestern National Bank (now Wells Fargo) and later at US Bank in the Institutional Trust Department. He was known to crack a joke at almost everything and his infectious laugh made everyone around him smile. He enjoyed being with his best friend/wife; traveling; annual family vacations; family was very important to him. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, Words with Friends, reading, being with friends and watching all sports – especially Sunday afternoon football. He also really enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their sporting events. Services will be held at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL (107th Ave. NE & Hwy. 65) Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at 2 PM with visitation beginning at 12 Noon. Cremation will follow the service and interment will be at a later date.
