Obituary for Jane Eloise Backstrom (Blomquist)

Backstrom, Jane E. age 89 of Spring Lake Park, passed away peacefully on 10/9/17 surrounded
by her family.
She is now reunited with her husband, Gordon; parents, sisters, Joyce Foster and Marvelle
Hermansen; brother, Alden “Boots” Blomquist; daughter-in-law, Debbie.
Survived and missed by children, Connie Ouellette (Don), Bryce (Stephanie), Roger, Dean
(Karleen), Carol Marquette (Kevin); 12 grandchildren and soon to be 8 great-grandchildren;
siblings, Melton Blomquist and Audrey Swanberg; many nieces and nephews.
Jane was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for over 50 years and was employed by
Spring Lake Park School System for over 25 years.
Funeral 11 AM Friday, 10/13/17 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7700 Monroe Street NE,
Spring Lake Park with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens.
Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
