Condolence: To all those who loved and cherished Mrs. Wimer, I am so sorry for your loss. Did you know that God never intended for people to get old and die? It started in the beginning when a man and woman were created. They were given a paradise garden in which to live. It had everything they needed to live forever. The account is found in Genesis 3:1-19. Only one law was given to them. Since they had free will, this law not to eat of a certain tree in the middle of the garden gave them a choice of whether to obey God or not. You know the story. They disobeyed and lost their home and eventually their lives. Romans 5:12 explains that this is why we all die, because death was brought on us through the sin of one man. But our loving Creator, Jehovah God, is taking steps to completely undo what Adam brought on us. He says in John 3:16 that He loves us and wants to give us everlasting life. I hope this helps some.
