Obituary for Arvilla Henrietta Wisti (Morley)

Arvilla Henrietta Wisti (Morley) died at age 85 on 11/21/2017 at Mount Olivet Home Careview in South Minneapolis.

Preceded in death by Parents Lyman and Sophie Morley (Beich), parent in-laws Oscar and Nora Wisti (Amondson), brother Frank Morley [Eileen], Sister Ruth Wilson (Morley), In-laws Charles Wilson [Ruth], Roy Sandberg (Evelyn), daughter Kathryn Jean Farley, and her children’s father Newel Ward Farley.

Survived by husband, Richard Wisti; sister Evelyn Sandberg (Morley); sister in-law Eileen Morley [Frank]; sons, John, Charles (Jackie) & Rob Roy (Jean) Farley; grandchildren, Chadwick, Colbin, Logan, Sean, Ariel, Jamie, Kristen, Sharissa (Stephen), Cayman, Tylor, Corinne, Colin, Matthew, Merrinn; great-grandchildren, Kalan, Kerian, Nici, Kathryn, and Olivia; step-daughter, Kristen Raftis and her children Jordon & Kaylene.

Arvilla was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on June 25th, 1932 to Lyman and Sophie (Beich) Morley. She graduated from Bismarck High School in 1950. She got her Associated Degree at Bismarck Jr. College. Early on, Arvilla liked to tap dance, as her mother always wanted a dancer in the family, so Arvilla started lessons. Her career started as a cartographer in Bismarck, homemaker, fitness director in Minneapolis, and a Acquisition Manager-Control Data; Relocation Reality in Eden Prairie.

She enjoyed golfing, bowling, sailing and was very talented painting with watercolors. Her hobbies were crafting in many diverse mediums such as knitting, crocheting, sewing decorative shirts and pillows. Another important hobby was she loved to read.

She remarried in September 9, 1983 to Richard Wisti. Arvilla and Dick sailed at leisure and many races aboard the hall a fame boat Finlandia. She loved her time with Dick and the life style he provided. They went on many cruises and traveled to many places around the world and to visit family. They had spent many years in October at their timeshare in Breezy Point, MN, and planned many events with family as they grew.

Funeral service at Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel (1918 University Ave. NE) Thursday, November 30th, 2017 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
