Condolence From: Lynn Wilson
Condolence: Aunt Arvilla was a force of nature. I always felt an aura of light and wind surrounded her. I am sorry for your loss Charley, Rob, Jack and Dick, but I know my Mom is so happy to be reunited with her dear sister in heaven. I have so many memories of Aunt Arvilla both as a young child and as a college student. She was so kind and welcoming to me when I was a student at the University of MN and I will always cherish that time with her.
Heaven is brighter (if that is possible) and windier today.

Condolence From: Ellen Raabe
Condolence: I am so sorry that Aunt Arvilla has left this world. I have so many wonderful memories of family vacation visits together. Especially when the 3 sisters were together, at times, along with Grandma Sophie, what a gathering that was! And the food . . . kesniphla, grandma's baked beans, Aunt Arvilla's cheese cake, Uncle Chuck's roasts to name a few . . . phenomenal. One specific memory I have as a child, Aunt Arvilla confidently and boldly told me she was a witch with eyes in the back of her head and could see everything all the time. I knew it didn't make sense, but yet I wasn't quite sure - she was so beguiling. She was a strong woman, creative, and unique. I have never met another "Arvilla", and doubt I ever will - there is only one.
Uncle Dick, Jack, Charlie, and Rob, I am so sorry she had to go. Her spirit will live on in our memories.
With much love and sympathy,
Ellen (Sandberg) Raabe and Family
