Condolence: Just a few years ago, I talked with John by phone & then saw him in person at the new Le Sueur High School when I too was inducted into the Le Sueur High School Wrestling Hall of Fame. We caught up on our family's history & talked about my late brother Henry (Hank) who had been on the wrestling team with John but had graduated a year later in 1959 & was also later inducted into the Le Sueur Wrestling Hall of Fame. I think we called it the Lawrence trifecta since all 3 of us had been inducted at different times. My very best to his family as he will be missed.

Condolence: I think I have known John and his family all my life. We started out as neighbors on 3rd St. in LeSueur. Lots of good memories growing up together with John and his sister, Joann, and later, Kathy. John was loved by everyone and he took the time to be nice to everyone. He will be missed by all. God Speed, John. See you again some day.
