TURPIN, JAMES
Age 81 of NE Minneapolis, owner of ABC Blacktop Company. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph & Amelia; three brothers, five sisters, three nephews, four nieces; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Joseph & Mary Ann Jedlenski. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Joan; sons, James Jr. (Pamela), Joseph (fiancée Diana) & John (fiancée Redina); grandchildren, Tabatha (Jeffrey) Meidl, Kirk (Chantelle) Turpin, Garrett (Samantha) Turpin, Samantha (Christopher) Jedlicka; great-grandchildren, Jett Meidl & Presley Rae Jedlicka; special cousins, Al & Clara; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Sylvester & Dianne; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Jim served as a Eucharistic minister at Holy Cross Church. Special thanks to Catholic Eldercare – 2nd Floor & Health Partners Hospice for their outstanding care. Mass of Christian Burial at CHURCH OF THE HOLY CROSS (17th Ave. NE & University Ave.) Saturday at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 9:45. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the church or to Catholic Eldercare.
