The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Georgene Engberg can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My condolences to the family. I still have fond memories of Georgene from the days of high school and beyond. She was a wonderful girl and that is how she will be remembered. From just hanging out with the gang and the parties, as well as up at the cabin with her friends. Then as the best barber stylist ever. Still can't get a decent hair cut from any one else. So, so sorry someone so young has left us.

Condolence: My condolences to the Engberg families. I'm sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear Georgene. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you. Please visit jw.org.
