Condolence: I met Brad in 1978 when he joined Control Data Corporation right out of school and was assigned to work with me. I still remember that we literally "threw him in the deep end" and he did marvelously well. I joined Network Systems in 1980 and he joined in 1981. It was a joy to work together. During that time Brad really, really, wanted to buy a house. At that time mortgage interest rates were 15% so he asked if I could rent a room, which I did, and shared that house for quite a while. More recently our paths again crossed at Seagate. I can confidently say that Brad and I were co-worker and friends. I do not have any recollection of being angry or frustrated with him. He always was friendly and honest to me. A great man. It is very sad to see him leave us way too soon.

Condolence: Jim and I knew Brad (many years ago) from Network Systems. I remember volleyball games, parties, company events and other times with Brad. His humor, smile and gentleness will be missed. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. He truly was a 'gentle man'.

Condolence: Meeting Brad in the mid-2000s through SNIA, www.snia.org, as part of the Board of Directors, Brad (Director and former Chairman) was admired by his peers and inspired those who followed in his footsteps. I, myself, also a former Chairman for SNIA in later years, am fortunate to have shared time with Brad. As Chairman Emeritus - on behalf of SNIA worldwide, our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and hope over time , everyone celebrates the time he spent with all of us.

Condolence: I have not had the privilege of personally knowing Brad, but feel I know him thru Rachelle. From the little I know, Brad was the kind of person we all should strive to be. Intelligent, accomplished, loving, companionate, easy to get to know. My deepest sympathies to the entire family, may our Lord give you strength and may Brad's memory be eternal.

Condolence: We moved to Minnesota in October one year. We didn't know anyone beyond my husband's work colleagues. Brad and Eric shared a cubicle wall. Family and school connections are tight in Minnesota so it was rather hard to find our place to be included. Brad and Daleen were so gracious that year, inviting us to dinner to watch the Packers play the Vikings, to dinner out at a Japanese restaurant followed by the Hollidazzle parade and the 8th Floor holiday display at Daytons/Fields, and then inviting us again to Christmas Eve dinner. Brad went out of his way to make sure his work colleague got a taste of the best the Twin Cities had to offer, and our family didn't feel so out of place that holiday season. Just one of the ways Brad made an impact (one meal at a time). Peace and love to you.

Condolence: There really are no words I can offer, but we will cherish the many memories of Brad and all of our times together, from him coming over as a bachelor and helping us with our then very small children (earning him the lasting nickname of Uncle ‘Buh’, since they couldn't pronounce Brad), to all being a part of that special wedding day, to his and Chan’s years of MBA studies, to the many dinners and visits we have enjoyed over the years. Much love to Daleen, Braeden and all of Brad’s family, who we also have had the privilige to know. And thank you Brad for being our friend. May you rest in God’s peace.
