Obituary for Evan Matthew Tangen
Evan Matthew Tangen earned his angel wings on February 3rd, 2018. Our brave little warrior was born on December 29th, 2016, 13 weeks early. He lived his entire life at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis battling chronic lung disease and complications from mid-aortic syndrome. During his short time on earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by his family.
Evan will be forever loved and missed by his parents, Keary & Matthew; sister, Lilly; grandparents, Marla & Tom Tangen, Jill & William Evans; great-grandfather, Rodney Erickson; aunts & uncles, Melanie (Matt) Peternall, Amanda (BJ) Purnick & Kelli (Josh) Hautala; cousins and other relatives.
We will forever be grateful for the Children’s Hospital staff for loving and caring for Evan like they did.
A Celebration of Evan’s life will be held at Kozlak-Radulovich Maple Grove Chapel (13745 Reimer Dr.) Sunday, February 11th, 2018 at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior and reception to follow. To honor Evan, please wear your Evan Strong shirt if you are able.
