Condolence: Just found out about Scott’s untimely passing. My most sincere condolences to his family. I first meet Scott in 87 at a theatre company where he was directing a play. Remember the theatre was a old rundown venue where on some nights the theatre cat, Buster would walk across the stage proudly during a performance with a mouse in his mouth. Scott and I would laugh way to hard during and after Buster’s surprise appearances. Needless to say, me and Scott became the best of friends. There are so many wonderful memories of Scott to write. All we did was laugh at any inane thing. Being a California native, Scott became part of my family, staying over for Christmas and thanksgiving and always being a part of the family get togethers. We loved talking anything cinema and music for hours. Our theee main hangouts were Headlines Cafe in Westwood where Scott was a projectionist at the Mann Cinema. (Free Movies!!), IHOP in West Hollywood where we would talk till the sun came up and Broadners, where all the pretentious USC filmmakers pontificated thru the night, Scott And I would leave and laugh so hard at all the boasting. It’s pretty clear how much he meant to me and forever will. He was a giant part of my life and terrific supporter. The last ten years we kind of went different paths as I married and started my family and Scott went to WB. We last physically saw each other about five years ago. Went to our favorite IHOP, talked and remembered all our dreams we postulated way back when. Although this time we left way before the sun would rise as two older guys who found their paths and needed more sleep, lol Scott, you will always be my brother and a part of my family. I will miss that rascally Scotty smile, esp when when I tell you one of my numerous hair brain ideas. I hope your running with your beloved dog, Freckels as I type this and know that spell check does make a difference, of course you never needed any of that brother!! I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Condolence: Had the pleasure of working with Scott as a tour guide many years ago and remember him fondly. Always gregarious. Frequently speaking passionately about film or music. Never afraid to express a political opinion in the break room. He was a wealth of knowledge and a genuinely good guy. Sincerest condolences to Scott's family.

Condolence: I worked with Scott at Warner Bros. Gate 9 from 2006-2009. He was great to work with, we made a good team. Just like so many have mentioned, he had a great sense of humor and he would often end a conversation with a laugh. He had many quirky catchphrases that are especially endearing to reflect upon now. He was a physically strong and resilient guy who never had so much as a cold during the time I worked with him. His theory was that he was essentially "inoculated" for life after he suffered from a severe illness during his childhood. Scott was an unassuming person who would not hesitate to lend a hand to anyone in need or engage in conversation with anyone he shared an interest with. As much as he enjoyed the many aspects of his life in Los Angeles and his job at WB, he was still very connected to his roots in Minnesota and fondly recalled many memories about growing up there. He often talked about his plans to retire there and reconnect with his family and friends. I would like to offer my most sincere condolences to his family. I will miss him very much and I greatly appreciate all the humorous moments and conversations I shared with him.

Condolence: Very sorry to hear of Scotty’s passing. I worked at Mann Theatres in Westwood with Scott back in the late 80’s. It was a minimum wage job that he was obviously extremely over qualified for, but it came with free movies and he enjoyed it. He was a fun and quirky guy who was a hard worker and a person of high moral standards. Sort of like several Seinfeld characters rolled into one. I worked with hundreds of people in my time at Mann Theatres but Scott was one of about a dozen or so memorable people. And someone who just thinking of him still draws a smile remembering his funny and quirky personality. Rest In Peace Mr. Moskal!

Condolence: I've known Scott for many years at Warner Bros. We bonded over our love of guitars, entertainment and baseball. We are both do-it-yourself type of guys with guitars. We were always sharing stories about guitar builds or guitar modding. I am still in shock. He was full of joy and excitement for life. I will miss him tremendously.

Condolence: Broken hearted to hear of Scott’s passing. Such a sweet, fun loving midwestern guy. I met Scott in the late 80’s when we worked together in Westwood. We were the same age and shared many of the same interests. Spent a lot of time talking movies, music, books and of course baseball. Scott was one of the original members of our fantasy baseball/football leagues. It was a great time for him as his “Twinkies” (as he so endearingly called them) won two World Series. Scott had no problem reminding us of that fact either. One day I recommended a Jim Thompson book to Scott. He promptly read it, then went on to read (and collect) the entire Noir genre. Scott said collecting was “in his blood”. Baseball cards, books, guitars, comic books you name it. I would see Scott throughout the 90’s when he would spend his weekends in Westwood. I always gave him a shout when I would be up on the WB lot, and we would catch up. One time back when he was doing the tours, I got some Twins/Angels tickets. Scott invited me up to take his tour before heading off to the game. His passion and wealth of knowledge for movies and all things Warner Brothers was effusive. Have great memories of all the laughs we shared! My deepest condolences to the family...Rest in Peace Scotty.

Condolence: Scott will definitely be missed. We worked in the same department together. There is a void there now. He brought tremendous laughter and great conversations that I looked forward to each day on the job. Sometimes the world seems small. We both went to the same university, although in different decades. We knew some of the same people. He taught me a lot about film and life. My heart goes out to his family.

Condolence: I've worked with Scott for the last 18 months. He was one of the first to show me a bit around the lot. He was always kind and had joke to tell. He loved telling stories about music and movies, and could find his way into almost any conversation in a meaningful way. I'll miss his loud laugh and animated reactions while watching the twins play a game.

Condolence: I knew Scott from the Warner Bros. Studios where we worked. I am deeply saddened today to hear of his passing. Scott was always nice, genuine and ready with a smile. I'd see him riding his bike to the studio or on the LA Subway. I will miss his "Hey, Mr. Marc!" greetings. All of us who knew this truly gentle man were blessed. I send my condolences to his mom, family and friends.

Condolence: I worked side by side with Scott for over fourteen years here at our delivery trailer. Scott came to us from the tour department, so I in turn learned more about the history of Warner Bros than I ever thought possible. (And anyone here who knew Scott will attest to his encyclopedic knowledge of our company past and present) But more than that, Scott was a good, decent man who was kind to everyone he met, and almost always cheerful and positive. I had the utmost confidence in him to manage the department while I was on break or on vacation, and he did so without missing a beat. Finally, on a personal note: Scott was a great friend whose laughter, conversation, and inconsequential debates I will miss most of all. There's just no replacing Scott Moskal. To his surviving family, please accept my prayers and deepest condolences.

Condolence: Scott and I played together a lot when we were little kids in Minneapolis. We really lost touch with each other during all his years in LA. Only 2 weeks ago we had breakfast when we was visiting his Dad in the hospital, and he was very sure he would move back to Minnesota upon retirement. I welcomed the thought of being able to reconnect in the future, but now that will not occur and it’s very sad. Scott’s Facebook site is full of great content and humor and provides a glimpse of the interesting person he was

Condolence: I had the pleasure of being Scott's Manager for the past 6 years. He was a man full of life and humor. He had an excellent work ethic and was a great team player. Such a wealth of knowledge and trivia and fun stories from his Comic Con trips. His absence is already being felt across our department. I offer the family my most heartfelt condolences but am comforted by the fact that Scott has joined his Dad. May they rest in peace.
