Obituary for Christopher Albert Marth

Christopher Albert Marth
Christopher (Chris) Marth, left us on March 3, 2018 surrounded by his family with a recording of his daughter singing.

Chris grew up in Blaine, MN and graduated from Woodcrest Baptist Academy in 1987. Chris met Chrissy in the summer of ’94 at the Minnesota State Fair. They were later married on August 15, 1998. They had three beautiful children. Chris was a dedicated father and cherished by so many friends and family.

Chris had many different passions throughout his life. One of those passions was being a true Viking’s fan, who was very rarely seen without a Viking’s jersey at holiday events. He was a karaoke junkie who was often heard signing in the living room singing with his kids. He could sit for hours at the cabin and watch for bald eagles or listen to the loons at night.

Chris was born on December 24, 1968, in Golden Valley, MN. He is survived by his wife, Christina Marth, children Quinn, Kylie and Kelsey of Blaine, MN; mother and father Jerelein and Bart Jones; sister Laura (Eric) Bensen, and brothers Gordon (Diane) Covyeow, Scott Marth, Neil (Rachel) Marth and Ken (Mary) Marth; multiple nieces and nephews; In-Laws Suzanne( Brian) LaValla and Mike (Kathy) Doris; and numerous brother/sister in-laws with even more nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by grandparents Christine and William Marth, Bonnie Mae Jones and Uncle Franklin Johnson.
