Barbara Jean Ingrassia
May 18th, 1933 ~ April 15th, 2012
age 79, of Maple Grove, Minn., passed away April 15, 2012. Preceded in death by husband John Thomas and daughter Anne. Barbara Jean Bennett was raised in Quincy, Ill., and earned degrees at Quincy College and the University of Illinois. She married in 1960 and moved to Anoka, Minn. She spent many years as a dedicated social worker in Child Protection Services for Anoka County. Survived by sons Phil (Jill), John (Kelly), Lee (Nancy) and Bob (Lida) and grandchildren Kaylee, Sophia, Lauren, Alex, Roman and Anthony.
Services
Funeral mass 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, at St. Joseph the Worker, 7180 Hemlock Lane North, Maple Grove, Minn., with visitation one hour prior.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to: Animal Humane Society, 845 Meadow Lane North, Golden Valley, MN 55422.
