Andrew Beardsley Scheig, of Maple Grove, born April 7, 1993, died unexpectedly in his sleep March 5, 2013. Survived by his devoted and loving family: parents Becky and Bill Scheig; sister, Alison Scheig; grandparents Donna Bauer and Hank and Mary Scheig; aunts and uncles: Brad & Nancy Bauer, Curt and DaNette Bauer, Chris Bauer & Joe Schmelz and Katie Scheig; cousins: Katie (& Paul) Spicer, Stephanie McGregor (& Paul Kooiman) & Michael Bauer, Cami, A.J. and Blake Bauer, and Dylan and Jared Schmelz. Andrew attended Weaver Lake Elementary School, Osseo Junior High and graduated from Maple Grove Senior High in May 2011. He was smart, funny, caring and kind. He loved his family and his friends. He left this world far too early but will be in our hearts forever. Memorial service will be held at LORD OF LIFE LUTHERAN CHURCH (7401 Cty. Rd. 101, Maple Grove) on Saturday, March 9th at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Memorials preferred to: National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), OCD Foundation and Humane Society of Golden Valley.
