SANDBERG (ELLERT), ADELINE “ANDY”
Age 62 of Brooklyn Park, MN, died on November 10, 2015. Preceded in death by parents: Anthony & Mina Ellert; sister, Sr. Marilyn Ellert, OSF; brother-in-law, John Hatcher. Survived by loving husband of 43 years, Larry; children: David (Keisha) Sandberg, Brian (Pam) Sandberg & Lisa (Shane) Burrows; grandchildren: Lauren, Joshua, Brittanie (Jesse) & Baillie (Dan); great-grandchildren: Jesse & Lilliana; siblings: Susan Hatcher, Shirley (Michael) Pegg, Pauline (Marc) VandenBand & Dr. William Ellert (Paul Nicosia); many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Andy served as a caretaker to many not only in her profession as a nurse, but also to countless family members & friends. In addition to her service in the U.S. Air Force, she was employed for 30+ years at North Ridge Care Center in New Hope, MN. We will treasure her years of caring for our family and many friends; She’ll forever be our angel and always in our hearts. She touched so many people's lives and will be deeply missed. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH MAPLE GROVE CHAPEL (13745 Reimer Dr., Maple Grove, MN) Thursday, November 19, from5-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at ST. ANDREW’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (566 – 4th St. NW, Elk River, MN)Friday, November 20, at 12:30 PM with visitation one hour prior in the church. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association (http://www.afsafund.org/joinafsa.htm) or the Arthritis Foundation (http://www.arthritis.org).
