Obituary for William Elmo Wever
Wever, William E.
Coon Rapids, age 76, passed away February 28, 2016. Preceded in death by parents Elmo and Julia, and siblings Joseph, Richard, Vern, and Collette. Retired from the City of Minneapolis Water Department in 1989 after 29 years and Northtown Mall maintenance after 14 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Survived by wife of 53 years, Mary; sons, Mark (KathyLee) Wever and Michael (Darcy) Wever and David Wever; grandchildren Carly, Audrey, Jacob, Joseph, William, and Wyatt; sisters, Verra Hudson, Lynda Jackson, Colleen Overby, and Delores Lilly; brothers, Wynn, Wayne, Phillip, and Robert; many relatives, and friends. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL (107th Ave NE & Hwy. 65) Thursday from 4-7 PM with prayer service at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at CHURCH OF ST. TIMOTHY (707 - 89th Ave. NE) Friday at 10 AM with visitation one hour prior. Reception to follow. Interment at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Oak Grove. Memorials preferred to the Disabled Veteran’s charity.
