The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dale Fisher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Friend

Dale, my friend,

Jan, my wife, and I are in the process of preparing to move from our Eden Prairie home to a Savage Townhome, as retirement beckons.  We were in the "Bat Cave", a large storage room the same size as the three car garage directly above it, going through box after box of scrap[s of our lives as we prepare to actually move.  I was pawwing through a  box of keepsakes, and I cam across a newspaper clipping of you and your old Dodge. Cut offs, open plaid short sleeve shirt, shoeless with that Beach Boy grin on your face, you were working away on the wooden spokes of the left front wheel.  One look and I knew I had to track you down, so we could BS about the old days.  I knew I could probably reach you through Karen, but I pounded your name intothe computer first.  I choked Dale......I missed you by six weeks......my heart broke thinking about all the time we spent together in high school and thereafter.  I'm still in disbelief as I write this.

Best to you my friend.  May you be resting comfortably with the Lord right now.  I really can't believe we can't still talk about this old newspaper article and Nancy Brown, your TR3 and those amazing old days.  I will miss you Dale, and think of you often.  Six weeks...I'm so sorry I missed you.
