Obituary for Richard Graske

Richard Graske, age 58 of Maple Grove. On January 31, 2018, crossed the finish line of life, setting a PR and securing the ultimate prize, a place in heaven with his Lord and Savior. Rich worked 23 years as a Software Consultant and as a therapist for the past 13. But more than this, he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He had a natural ability to make deep connections with people. He will be remembered for how he lived out his faith, his passion for life, devotion to family, love of the outdoors, camping, running marathons and triathlons and love of chocolate. Rich joins in Heaven his precious daughter, Hope; parents, Joseph Anthony and Mary Ellen Graske; brothers-in-law, Bob Walfoort and Jack Lowell; and father-in-law, Jerome Goedderz. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Jo; siblings, Bill (Becky), Sue Walfoort, Jerry (Neide), Pat (Vince) Conway, Jackie Graske, Colleen (Tom) Harvey and Tom (Sue); 42 nieces and nephews; 27 great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2018 with visitation one hour prior at Church of the Open Door, 9060 Zanzibar Ln N, Maple Grove. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
