Proudest Dad EVER

This story is for Ewa and Julia and Monica. But especially for you girls. The last time I saw your dad was at the CSIET conference 2 years ago. He ran over to me and gave me one of his big Rich hugs and then told me ALL about you girls - how amazing and beautiful and smart and awesome you were. Which of course I know is TRUE because I worked with your dad when you were born and remember how PROUD he was to have you both come into the world. And I worked with your dad at OPEN DOOR for many years and you girls would come and see us dressed in the beautiful dresses that your wonderful Mom made for you - and he would BEAM with pride. Just like he was beaming with pride talking about you both when I last saw him and he showed me your pictures. I am SO LUCKY I knew your dad and worked with him and got to socialzie with him and other folks at OPEN DOOR after work and even played tennis with him (he wiped me off the court!) I can close my eyes and in my memory I can still see and hear his heartfelt awesome and joyful laugh that made his shoulders shake he and I would get laughing so hard because we always found something funny in even tough work moments together.  I cannot express my sorrow for your loss - all of you. The world was a better place with your dad in it. I loved working with him every single day. BUT remember your dad made it clear that HE felt the world was the BEST PLACE because you girls were born into it. No one could have loved you more. Love and hugs and my deepest sympathy, Ellenxoxox
