My condolences to Doreen, all of Pat's family and those that knew Pat. We will all have those particular items that remind of us of Pat that will make us smile. After almost 25 years of knowing Pat, both personally and professionally, there are a few items that will remind me... Pat was always very passionate about his work. This really is a good thing. ;) In the early years of playing corporate softball, he blocked a wicked throw from third base using his eye. I have never seen an eyebrow grow that fast. It was scary, but made a great conversation piece at the office. It seemed that Pat was always planning and tracking using spreadsheets. One would think that if you can't represent it in a spreadsheet, it can't be done. Pat and Doreen were great hosts, allowing a bunch of aging old men to get together at the lake for a "Guy's Weekend". All sorts of memories there. I always thought that with Pat there was a pattern... "Have a few brews, then snooze". We all had a great time, lots of laughs, and loads of fun. It is sad that this all has come to an abrupt end, but I will celebrate Pat's life. Only one regret... He never gave me a ride on the pontoon. Next time when you are holding your favorite beverage.... Raise the glass, and toast Pat. I will miss him.
